In 1924, Yosef Kamal Jedai opened his pharmacy on Yafet Street after graduating from Istanbul. Residents of Jaffa and British soldiers regularly visited his pharmacy. In 1950, his son studied pharmacy in Beirut.

In Liverpool, England, Yosef Jedai studied pharmacy and owns the “Green” pharmacy on Yafet Street today. Medicine cabinets and furniture from before have been written in English.
